In the Cell Structure and Function Unit, the class learned about photosynthisis. And one key part in photosynthisis is Chlorophyll.
Chlorophyll is the green pigmint found in plants. Its is very important in the process of photosynthisis due to the fact that it allows the plant to gather energy from light.
In the artical above, it explains hows benificial the intake of chlorophyll is to our bodies. This particular molecule has the effects of "...blood regeneration, reversing the signs of aging, the reversal of anemia, decrease in colon cancer risk, and other forms of cancer can be adversely affected by the use of chlorophyll."
Now you might be asking yourself, "hey, Jay, I'm not a plant. How do I obtain this magical molecule called chlorophyll? Do I just eat a flower?" To awnser your question simply, is no. Do not eat a flower. What you can do is take wheat, oat, barley, oat grasses and alfalfa and juicing or eating them. If that doesnt sound to appitizing this artical also tells me that you can obtain it in pill form.
For the past week I have been going to Booster Juice and getting a shot of wheatgrass each visit. Its most likely too early to tell if its helping at all but it sure is not cheap!

This artical that I came accross tells of studies conducted that point to how our bodies DNA does not control how our bodies perform, health and weight wiese.
I always thought that my body size and health was preset for me by my DNA. That I would be unable to control how often I got sick, how long I would be sick for and even my own body weight. Now I know that by eating healthy and living a more active life doesnt just help me be more healthy but that it can change my DNA to be more proactive against virus's and to have cancer causing ones even shut down.
Iv recently studied DNA, what it is, what it does and how its a  major factor for the basis of life and of our own lives. I never would have thought that just by doing something so basic such as eating healthy and exercis could have such an effect and evan a change on something so complex as DNA.
